We are a family-owned and operated company founded by Ching Sun Wong, who immigrated from Guangdong, China to the United States in the 1960s. Mr. Wong started manufacturing noodles in the basement of a small store in New York City's Chinatown in 1973 with only 10 employees and a single production line. With continued growth, the company relocated to the East Williamsburg area in Brooklyn in the 1980s and have since expanded to include plants in Long Island City, Plainview, Houston, and Nashville.
Forty years later, Wonton Food Inc. is the largest manufacturer of noodles, wrappers, and fortune cookies in the United States. Our company’s products are enjoyed both across the U.S. and internationally.
We credit our mission statement to our growth and maintain it to this day.
