We are a family and minority-owned and operated company founded by Ching Sun Wong, who immigrated from Guangdong, China to the United States in the 1960s. Mr. Wong started manufacturing noodles in the basement of a small store in New York City's Chinatown in 1973 with only 10 employees and a single production line. With continued growth, the company relocated to the East Williamsburg area in Brooklyn in the 1980s and have since expanded to include plants in Long Island City, Plainview, Houston Texas, and Nashville Tennessee.
Fifty years later, Wonton Food Inc. is the largest manufacturer of noodles, wrappers, and fortune cookies in the United States. Our company’s products are enjoyed across the U.S. and internationally.

Our Brooklyn, NY, facility is home to the Corporate Headquarters for Wonton Food Inc. This production facility houses our research and development laboratory, pilot scale production line, fully equipped test kitchen, and QA testing facilities.Wonton Food maintains and manages several large production areas throughout our manufacturing locations, including dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage facilities. Besides servicing the Northeast region, our Houston, Texas, and Nashville, Tennessee facilities service the Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast Markets.
